A player at Manila’s Solaire Resort & Casino has become the first in the world to win the Grand Jackpot and Double Luck Jackpot on Shuffle Master’s new Da Fu Da Gui progressive link slot machines.
Solaire this week presented the lucky winner with a cheque for US$781,230 after they struck gold on 11 March – the first to do so since Da Fu Da Gui was introduced to the Asian market late last year.
Da Fu Da Gui, which means “Big riches, big honors” is the continuation of the Duo Fu Duo Cai phenomenon featuring specifically Asian imagery.
Although there had previously been one winner of the game’s Grand Jackpot, this was the first time a player had won by revealing three Double Luck coins during the jackpot feature meaning they not only won the current jackpot amount but also the start-up amount of the winning jackpot level.
Solaire was the first casino in the world to install Da Fu Da Gui with 50 units in December 2015.
