Inspired by the eagerly-awaited The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 3D movie, which opens at UA Galaxy Cinemas on 1 May, a series of Spider-Man themed activities will feature at the resort’s East Square from 23 April to 2 June. If you are a Spider-Man fan, this is one spectacle you don’t want to miss!
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 got off to a spectacular start on 23 April when world-famous free climber Alain Robert scaled the outside of one of Galaxy Macau’s golden-cupola-topped towers.
Visitors to Galaxy Macau will now be greeted by a giant 20-foot high Spider-Man while another larger-than-life Spider-Man figure, together with an array of villains, backdrops and elaborate decorations from the movie, set the scene for magical photo opportunities.
An extraordinary Spider-Man Lifestyle Experience Draw will also be held for members of the Galaxy Privilege Club. The winner of the Grand Prize will embark on a fabulous journey to New York City, where the movie was filmed. It includes first class return flights for two, five nights in a five-star hotel, a private limousine service, a MOP$400,000 shopping spree, themed spa treatments, a helicopter tour over the city and a VIP experience at Sky Room Times Square – the highest rooftop lounge in New York.
Every day from 23 April to 2 June, Spider-Man will star in lively parades and dance performances across the resort between 14:00 and 21:00. Dancers at exclusive performance lounge, CHINA ROUGE, will be putting their own spin on Spider-Man in a captivating nightly show from 1 May to 2 June.
Restaurants, cafes and bars throughout Galaxy Macau are making tempting Spider-Man desserts and drinks for fans who like their spider treats sweet. Collectibles and movie merchandise will also be available to purchase as mementos.
