Secrets of sports betting Sport

Weekend preview

This is the last weekend of the AFL regular season. There are some very interesting games on show but be careful with the betting. Beware of teams resting players for the finals and those playing their last game of the season. Teams can often lift knowing they are about to head off on a long holiday while the top sides often ease off if their position is already assured.

The golf this weekend should provide some great viewing with the Deutsche Bank Championship representing the second round of the FedEx Cup. There will be plenty of low scoring and I have a feeling we will have a handful of big names battling it out for the FedEx Cup points and a big wad of cash come Sunday afternoon in Boston.

It’s “Super Sunday” in the EPL this weekend with two huge clashes. Liverpool always plays their best football against age-old rivals Manchester United and the London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham won’t disappoint. I am steering away from the early game but I like Arsenal in the afternoon.

Also in England, the Twenty20 cricket games between England and Australia get underway. This is going to be an enjoyable couple of games with plenty of runs scored. Twenty20 is a perfect sport to bet on and unless there is a real reason to back the favorite I tend to back the underdog. So it will be the Aussies for me in both games with a decent price on offer at around $1.95.

Good luck and good punting.
