Weekly tournaments back at PokerStars Macau

One of the great features of the PokerStars Macau (PSM) room at Grand Lisboa was the regular weekly tournament schedule. Sure, we all love to play the big special events like the Macau Poker Cup and the Asia Pacific Poker Tour with their life-changing first prizes and resultant fame and glory. But most players can’t afford to stump up a five-figure buy-in day in and day out. And what if you are just starting out in the live tournament poker scene? Or you’re a Macau local looking to have a bit of fun for a small investment? This is where the weekly tournaments come into their own.

The good news is PSM once again has a permanent home, now at City of Dreams, and as a result the regular weekly tournament schedule is back! You can play and enjoy tournament poker in Macau every single night of the week at Pokerstars at City of Dreams. Playing these smaller events is a great way to make the transition from online to live tournament poker, or just to hone your live poker skills without doing any serious damage to your bankroll.

Plenty of the team here at WGM play serious high stakes poker, and while we all love the big events, we have to admit they can sometimes be quite stressful! So from time to time we really enjoy playing the smaller weekly events while catching up with poker friends over a beer or three. We hope to see you there!
