The ICC Cricket World Cup gets underway this weekend and we thought we’d get in early with some futures bets on the overall winner. Call us predictable but we can’t go past the tournament hosts Australia and New Zealand with both worthy of a bet.
At around $2.85 the Australians are tournament favorites and deservedly so having thrashed South Africa late last year and gone through their recent series against India and England undefeated. New Zealand also look great value at $6.00 given their amazing form in recent months in which they belted Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
