If New Zealand were at full strength for today’s first cricket Test against England we’d be on them like a bee on honey, but sadly their squad has been decimated with Martin Guptill injured and Brendan McCullum, Kane Williamson, Tim Southee and Trent Boult among an experienced group still finishing stints in India’s IPL.
We still see this England side as being very, very vulnerable but they should at least be able to bat a weakened Kiwi outfit at home.
