One Day International (ODI) cricket can be a fickle affair with fortunes easily changing from game to game, however there is a lot to like about a rising Pakistan when they face Sri Lanka in the second of their five game ODI series today.
Having stunned the home side by winning a thrilling Test series 3-1, Pakistan maintained their momentum with a comfortable six-wicket win in the opening ODI last Saturday. Sri Lanka appear to be sorely missing veterans Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene, who both retired after the World Cup in March, and lack the firepower this energetic Pakistan outfit brings to the table.
