We’re going to get in early to kickstart the weekend’s action by looking ahead to Sunday’s Monaco F1 Grand Prix. Championship leader Lewis Hamilton will again start favorite for this race but we like the look of his Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg who has won here the past two years. He has also out-qualified and out-raced Hamilton all three years they’ve been teammates.
The Premier League finishes for another year with the final round of action being played out in its entirety tonight. With little to play for now, it’s fair to say the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal have gone on an early holiday in recent weeks, not Manchester City who seem to be reveling now that the pressure is off. They’ve scored 10 goals in their past two games so we like them to finish on a high at home to Southampton.
Finally we’re off to Australia where the Canberra Raiders host Canterbury on Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs gave been in poor form recently with five losses from their past six while Canberra has been the surprise packet of the competition. They have also scored more points than any other side which is a worry for a Canterbury team missing four of their best players due to representative duties. Canberra by plenty.
