We’re off to Australia for the NRL again today as the Melbourne Storm host the Canterbury Bulldogs in the 4th Qualifying Final at Melbourne’s AAMI Park. These two sides met at this very venue just a little over a month ago with Canterbury posting a tough 6-4 win, but very little has gone right for the visitors since then as they battle injuries and a worrying form slump.
The Bulldogs have lost six of their last eight games and last week’s 19-18 loss to the Gold Coast after leading 18-0 was the worst preparation for the finals they could have possibly had. Melbourne have been a little hot and cold this year but they are masters at finals football, boast a fearsome attacking unit and should be far too good at home.
