The 2014 Formula 1 season begins today with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. The traditional season opener is always an exciting event with each new year bringing a whole raft of possibilities with it and 2014 looks particularly intriguing given the new engine design rules being introduced.
We’re not going to try and predict the outright race winner just yet but the Mercedes team has looked great in testing which bodes well for drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. Let’s take former world champion Hamilton for a podium finish.
