It’s been an awful start to the new campaign for last season’s runners-up Liverpool, but after a much-needed win over West Brom last start, tonight’s trip to QPR could be just the tonic to get things going in the right direction.
With just one win from their seven games, QPR find themselves rooted to the bottom of the EPL ladder and will be without injured midfield duo Joey Barton and Jordan Mutch tonight. More important for Liverpool is the likely return of Daniel Sturridge whose speed and agility is exactly what the Reds’ attack has been missing.
We note that QPR has conceded two goals or more in five of their seven matches this season and four goals on two separate occasions.
