The World Cup is taking a break for a few days but we’re going to take the opportunity to get in early with what we think could be one of the upsets of the tournament this coming Friday. Host nation Brazil has traditionally been one of the real powerhouses of world football and on home soil expectation remains high of another deep run in this World Cup, but the form line says otherwise.
They were lucky to beat Croatia in the tournament opener, were held to a 0-0 draw by Mexico and needed a penalty shootout to progress to the quarter-finals at the hands of Chile. Now they face a Colombian side that has been arguably the form side of the tournament with four consecutive wins in which they have scored 11 goals. Colombia is paying around $4.50 for the win which is ridiculously good value given they are a huge chance of knocking Brazil out here.
