Chinese giants Guangzhou Evergrande FC head to Australia for an AFC Champions League clash against the Western Sydney Wanderers and despite the long trip all signs point to a win for the visitors.
The 2013 AFC Champions League winners have been near unstoppable in the Chinese Super League and sit 10 points clear at the top of the table. On the other hand, the Wanderers are low on match practice given the Australia’s A-League season is yet to get underway and the early signs are nothing special after they suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to semi-professional side Adelaide City in the new FFA Cup last week – Australia’s equivalent of the FA Cup.
