The latest episode of the Tyne-Wear derby takes place tonight as Newcastle look to make amends for their 4-1 capitulation at Arsenal last week against old rivals Sunderland.
We’re expecting a low scoring affair tonight with Sunderland having conceded more than on goal only once in their last seven outings – against Manchester City – and holding both Chelsea and Liverpool to 0-0 draws in that time.
Newcastle will also be buoyed by the fact that the visitors don’t boast the same attacking firepower as the Gunners outfit that put 4 past them last week. We’ll go for a game total of less than 2.5 goals.
