The Ashes has finally arrived as Australia plays host to England in the First Test in Brisbane. The Poms have been the dominant side in recent seasons and have won the past three Ashes series, but the gap looks to finally be closing.
More importantly, the Aussies have a tremendous record at the Gabba having not lost a Test there since way back in 1988. There probably won’t be a great deal separating these two sides over the coming months but Australia will be keen to start this series with a bang.
