France almost didn’t make it to this World Cup – needing a remarkable turnaround in the second leg of their playoff against Ukraine to get there – but they’ve probably been the form team of the tournament since landing in Brazil.
A 3-0 win over Honduras was followed by a 5-2 thumping of Switzerland and although they face a desperate Ecuador side tonight it’s hard to see anything but a French victory.
