It was a bad week for the teams from the NFC North with the draw between the Packers and Vikings meaning all four sides went winless last weekend. However, no division is closer with the Packers just half a game behind both the Lions and Bears and with games against both – including the Lions this week – coming up.
In fact, should they secure a much needed win against the Lions, Green Bay would be in the box seat to claim the divisional title and although they haven’t scored a win for a month now, they do boast a great record when traveling to Detroit having spoiled the Lions’ party every year since 2007. Both sides have plenty to play for but the Packers have history on their side and in rejuvenated quarterback Matt Flynn performing well they must consider themselves a great chance here.
