The UK Snooker Championship is underway and recently crowned world number one Mark Selby was one of the first to progress to the final 64 with a strong opening round win on Wednesday. Selby has been in superb form of late, winning the World Championship for the first time, and his form in this event is good.
He won the UK Championship in 2012 and was runner-up last year so he is our pick to go all the way despite some strong competition from the likes of Ding Junhui, Neil Robertson and Ronnie O’Sullivan.
