WGM’s tip for 31 May: Portugal

The weekend of international friendlies continues on in earnest today and this is our pick of the games. Portugal and Greece will both feature in Brazil so this is a particularly interesting match-up.

That said, the home ground advantage should come into play here. Greece are a solid defensive unit who love to grind their opponents into submission, but Portugal will present a serious attacking threat and showed their potential by dispatching Sweden to qualify for the Cup in November.
