The US Open is just a few weeks away and now is a great time to get in early on the Futures markets. We like the look of Novak Djokovic to make it two grand slams in a row following his win at Wimbledon, but we love the value Roger Federer is offering at around $7 even more.
Federer is fourth favorite at this stage behind Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray but Murray’s form has been awful this year while we’ve just received news that a wrist injury means Nadal’s right arm will be in a cast right up until the start of the US Open. At this stage there is no guarantee he will even be fit in time, so now’s a great time to jump on the Federer bandwagon.
The Fed Express has enjoyed a resurgent 2014 and only lost the Wimbledon final in a thrilling five-setter to Djokovic. We’ll be putting cash on both of them but will be cheering for Federer.
