It’s the first Tuesday in November which can only mean one thing – Melbourne Cup Day! One of the biggest horse races anywhere in the world, the Cup is known in Australia as “the race that stops a nation” but these days it could probably be called “the race that stops the world.”
Horses from all over the globe make the trek to Melbourne to take their shot at the AU$3.6 million first prize, one of them being our pick for the Cup – Sea Moon. His form has been superb this spring and his performances have improved as the distances have increased. It’s never easy picking the Melbourne Cup winner but he looks a great each way bet.
