The biggest tournament of the year so far kicks off today with the world’s top 50 players all on show for the WGC-Cadillac Championship. Tiger Woods strolled to victory here 12 months ago with a dominant performance and was considered among the favorites again, but after pulling out of the Honda Classic during the final round last week due to back spasms it is unknown whether he will take his place today – or if he does how the injury will affect him.
With that in mind, we’re going to go for in-form Jason Day for a good finish here. Day won the WGC Match Play a fortnight ago to move into the world’s top five and it is hard to ignore his incredible consistency in big events.
