A fascinating clash to determine the second finalist at this year’s World Cup takes place tonight as powerhouses Argentina and the Netherlands face off in Sao Paulo.
The loss of Angel Di Maria is a significant blow for the Argentinians, however they can at least look to the formidable weapon that is Lionel Messi to create opportunities for them. The Dutch have their own superstars in Arjen Robben and Robin van Persie looking to make amends for their loss in the 2010 World Cup final against Spain but this side has looked a little more frail than Argentina in this tournament.
They trailed Australia 2-1 midway through the second half in their Group B clash and needed two very late goals to beat Mexico in the Round of 16. They won’t be afforded such luxuries here.
