It’s art time in Macau at the moment with the 24th Macau Arts Festival and Le French May both in full swing, while lovers of food and wine have plenty to look forward to with the New Zealand Food and Wine Fair.

Vanishing Techniques – Photographs of Jean Baudrillard
One of the most influential thinkers in the world, Jean Baudrillard’s unique photographic theory allowed him to express a different way of looking at the world. This exhibition of around 50 pieces is the most complete and comprehensive introduction to his works since he passed away. Works on show have been personally selected by Mrs Marine Baudrillard.

24th Macao Arts Festival — Outdoor Performing Arts Showcase
Featuring artists from the various generations of Macau as well as foreign groups and performers, the Outdoor Performing Arts Showcase sees music, theatre and dance flourish from the exchange between the Chinese and Portuguese cultures together with foreign expressions. Performers include Dutch puppeteer Lejo, the Macau Fringe Club and the Maranatha Arts Society among others.

Xavier Le Roy – Unfinished Dance
French choreographer Xavier Le Roy draws on diverse influences from the worlds of science, performance art and contemporary dance. Alone on stage, he morphs between human and machine – slowly contorting his body into a variety of surprising poses and deviating as far as possible from an identifiable human figure. The hour-long piece is performed in complete silence.

Prepare to be wowed as renowned designer and artist Pablo Reinoso presents his Living Sculpture exhibition. The Venetian Carnevale
The Venetian Carnevale is coming back on a scale that you’ve never seen before!
