The Human Bodies Exhibition

Those with bolder minds or keen on a human biology lesson shouldn’t miss the Human Bodies Exhibition, which ends Sunday 31 March.

Titanic: The Exhibition

Ever since the “unsinkable”ship tragically collided with an iceberg in 1912, the legend of the Titanic has never ceased to fascinate. Titanic: The Exhibition, co-organized by the Venetian Macau and National Geographic, will present a moving tale about the most famous ship in history – from its conception to its downfall – with over 400 artifacts showcased in the exhibition. If you haven’t seen it yet, hurry up because it ends this Sunday!

Macao International Film and Video Festival (MIFVF)

Movie buffs who want some alternatives to Hollywood flicks may enjoy the annual Macao International Film and Video Festival (MIFVF) which will kick off this Thursday 28 March. Check out the screening schedule from the Macao Cultural Centre website!

The Arrival

Red Leap Theatre from New Zealand will take you to an imaginary world with its mesmerizing puppetry and shadow play. The tale won the 2010 Chapman Tripp Theatre Awards in New Zealand and continues to impress audiences all over the world with more than 200 sets, props and puppets.

Insight to Self – Portraits of a Chinese

Photographer Ye Jinglu had a photo taken of himself every year from 1907 until he passed away in 1968. Join a journey through time with this precious collection of 62 portraits and reflect on the ephemeral nature of life. Or, if you find the ageing process depressing, why not play out your own version of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and walk through his life in reverse!

Gold Brick Exhibition

All that glitters is not gold but MGM’s Gold Brick Exhibition certainly is! Entitled “Glorious China, Auspicious Macau”, the exhibition features 12 pieces of art layered in 24-carat gold created by crossover designer and artist Wang Kaifang. Who knows, the gold may bring you good luck before venturing into the casino!

The House of Dancing Water
