The Macau International Jazz Festival starts tonight with the Sizhukong quintet from Taiwan, who blend Jazz and Chinese sounds alongside the creative pianist Stefano Bollani from Italy, bringing about an exciting musical adventure of imagination. And the Mingus Project five-man band from Portugal will remain true to Charles Mingus’ powerful legacy, leading to the cheerful end by the master of Jazz Fred Wesley together with The New JB’s funk jazz tomorrow.
