To further promote Macao as a platform for cultural exchange between China and Portugal, the Chinese Cultural Industries Promotion Association presents the exhibition Azulejos in Macao Vol. I, inviting the photographer Carol Kwok to photograph different parts of Macau in search of these azulejos Some of the detailed close ups of the Portuguese tiles are also made into postcards. In the same exhibition, they have also invited Fernando Simoes to display his ceramic tile paintings.
