What's on tonight: Sunday 23 June

Written by Yuci Tai

The São João Festival is a religious thanksgiving full of dancing and singing as well as traditional games. The consumption of typical Portuguese and Macanese snacks such as pork steaks, grilled sardines and ‘chouriço’ pork sausages are time-honored elements of the Festival, as are handicraft booths and lots of kids’ activities. If you prefer something a little quieter, why not go on a free guided tour around the streets of Macau? Today’s offering invites you to revel in the ‘Distinctive Old Shops & Footprints of Painter George Smirnoff’.
