Resident conductor of both the National Grand Theatre Orchestra and Macau Orchestra, Lü Jia picks up the baton for NGTO’s much-anticipated tour this year, the first stop of which will be Macau. Concert highlights will include Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major (Op. 55), American composer Michael Gordon’s “Beijing Harmony”, and Chinese violinist Ning Feng’s “Butterfly Lovers” concerto.
