Yueju Opera (Cantonese Opera) – distinguished by its plain yet bold performing skills including single foot, stopping, moving eyes, somersaulting and trenching – can be traced back over 300 years. Prevalent throughout southern China, Yueju Opera is listed under “Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity” by UNESCO. This week, you have a chance to enjoy two performances from Yueju Opera.
