Poker’s most prestigious tournament series, the World Series of Poker, has released its full 2017 schedule with a record 74 events to be played at the Rio in Las Vegas between 30 May and 18 July.
The schedule includes eight brand new events including a US$10,000 Tag Team, a US$365 No Limit Hold’em called “The Giant” and a US$1,000 NLHE Super Turbo Bounty. There is also the US$2,620 “Marathon” which lasts five days and sees players start with 26,200 in chips to go with 100-minute levels.
The US$10,000 Main Event starts on 8 July. Last year’s series attracted a record 107,833 entries across 69 events.
