Heroine gown

Juxtaposing whimsical and flirty with sexy and sophisticated, alice + olivia lets you express your personal style. Perfect for fall, this gown draws on the rich, vibrant colors of India and the romanticism of Renaissance Florence with its high mock neck, cap sleeves, handbeaded embellishment and floorsweeping length, allowing ladies to be the heroine of their own story. All beading is handsewn with perfect craftsmanship by a team of veteran female artisans.

Fatal attraction

High-end jeweler Bvlgari is giving its well-loved Serpenti Collection a more contemporary and innovative twist. Reprising vintage designs of the 1970s, the new collection includes the Serpenti Inspirations necklace, earrings and bracelet. Hexagon patterns and designs produce a tactile, tridimensional look, channeling the scales of a snake. Tourmalines are paired with pavé diamonds to alternate color and texture, lending volume to these exquisite pieces.

The destiny

Cartier has recently launched two short movies directed by Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden, revolving around two defining moments in any love story – the first encounter and the proposal – and rendered all the more intense by the glimmering Destinée de Cartier solitaire. The creative mounting introduces a complex architectural base, with a four-claw setting inspired by the Solitaire 1985. The pavilion visibly enhances the diamond by capturing and refracting the light. The stone is partly surrounded by a crown of delicately set micro-paving, hiding the metal and foregrounding the stone amid a constellation of brilliant-cut diamonds.
