We like to party, we like, we like to party (apologies to the Vengaboys). Yes, The Stallion’s been yelling at us to let him loose on you, our dear WGM readers, with his very own regular column each issue bringing you all the goss on the party scene in Macau. And you don’t argue with a fired-up Stallion, you give him what he wants! All jokes aside The Stallion is The Man (or The Horse?) when it comes to nightlife in Aomen (that’s Macau to you). I’m sure you’ll love his party-place reviews and he might even save you a dollar or twelve.

The other big news right now is the World Series of Mahjong which has just been run and won, with Chan Tak-Kwan taking the chocolates home to Hong Kong. World Gaming fielded its very own professional mahjong team of nine players, in conjunction with our great friends from ReachMahjong.com. The team was captained by our Mahjong columnist Jenn Barr and included her co-columnist Kelvin ‘Puyo’ Ng. Of our nine players, four made the final 16 in the tournament which was a fantastic achievement – 44 percent of our team made it to the final 8 percent of the entire field.

Don’t forget to check out www.WGM8.com for back issues and articles, and best of all it’s completely free. Sign up as a member and you’ll find yourself in the running to win all sorts of prizes.

We’ve also got all the usual columns you’ve come to know and love in WGM: baccarat, blackjack, craps, world football, plenty on poker and our restaurant review. On top of that we introduce our new contributor, The Eagle, who is a high-flying lawyer but we’re trying not to hold that against him. Round that out with a review on the famous (infamous?) MP3 bar, the next instalment in our backgammon series and more sport and gaming and you have yet another bumper issue of Macau’s only gaming magazine written just for you – the players of Macau. We’re sure you’ll love it.
