Good Food Guide: Paddington House of Pancakes

Written by The Panda

After opening the menu at Paddington, we were surprised by the great variety of pancakes on offer. Besides French crepes, there are also Pannekoek, Phop Galettes and Blintzes. And there are sweet and savory choices for each type of pancake. For savory, we tried Brussels. It’s base is made of organic buckwheat, which is very healthy. Together with bacon, onion, Mozzarella, baked beans, avocado, egg (sunny side up) and homemade sauce, the flavor is extremely rich. When you put the pancake and the ingredients in your mouth all at once, there are different levels of flavor creating an exceptional taste.

For sweet, we picked Pannekoek together with apple fritters, strawberries, raisins, nuts, berry puree, cinnamon sugar, double ice cream and whipped cream. We preferred this to the savory one with the apple fritters being crispy but not greasy. Besides pancakes, Paddington also provide other snacks, pasta and drinks. Even those who don’t like sweet food should give it a try.
