Good Food Guide: Rest & Go Café

The team here at WGM is always enthusiastic about trying new things so when we heard there was a newly opened café near Sun Yat Sen Memorial House, we didn’t want to miss out. This small café is located inside a residential area with a color theme of black. They have adopted a semi-open design for their kitchen so customers can see the whole cooking process. They offer various set menus all day long, such as lunch set menu, afternoon tea set menu and all-day set menu, to facilitate the Macau people’s habit of irregular mealtimes. Besides set menus, they also have lots of choices of pasta, snacks, cakes and waffles.

I ordered short rib with spicy tomato sauce, which includes soup of the day, a main course and a drink. The short rib was marinated and cooked very well. It wasn’t too hard to swallow nor too soft to highlight the beef flavor. Kudos must go to the culinary skill of the chefs here which can be compared with those of starred hotels. In fact, we’ve already been here twice before writing this because of their outstanding culinary skill and service. Well worth a try!
