New “WSOP-like” structure for Vietnam Poker Cup 2

Poker operations partner of Ho Tram Resort Casino and sister company of WGM, World Players Entertainment (WPE), has announced that the upcoming Vietnam Poker Cup 2 (VPC2) – to be held from 16 to 18 October 2015 – will feature a revised structure designed to provide more play and even greater value to players.

Closely mirroring the levels used in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event, VPC2 sees three new levels added and five ante levels adjusted – resulting in an overall 13% reduction in average orbit cost increments in key levels. The new levels will appear after Level 9, Level 16 and Level 22.

CEO of WPE Mr Andrew W Scott said, “This new structure for VPC2 is great news for players and shows our commitment to continuous refinement to improve what is already a great event.

“It is incredibly rare to find a structure this generous for a US$550 event and although the structure and value at VPC was very, very good, now it is even better!”

VPC2 follows on from the tremendous success of the inaugural Vietnam Poker Cup last month and features buy-ins ranging from US$55 to the US$1,100 High Roller, with the US$550 Main Event kicking off on 17 October.

The complete VPC2 Main Event structure is as follows:
