Ponte 16 turns eight!

Written by Ben Blaschke

Chinese New Year isn’t the only celebration in Macau this month with Ponte 16 – the only five star luxury resort located in Macau’s inner harbor – celebrating its eighth birthday.

Having opened its doors on 1 February 2008, Ponte 16 was one of the first Macau resorts to place a genuine focus on non-gaming entertainment and is renowned as home to the Michael Jackson Gallery featuring a range of iconic items from the singer’s esteemed career.

To celebrate its milestone, Ponte 16 and Sofitel Macau will offer a range of luxury prizes and huge discounts to Ponte 16 members, including the chance to win one of 9,999 golden monkey figurines during Chinese New Year from 8 to 12 February and on 31 March.

Guests can also enjoy some remarkable food specials such as “Baked crab shell Portuguese style” or a bottle of Sendero Sauvignon Blanc or Merlot for just MOP$8 each.

Among those offering special deals on food and beverages are MJ Café, Le Chinois, Mistral, Sixteen Eight, Rendezvous Lobby Lounge and Green Wine Bar and St Tropez, while Ponte 16 members, hotel guests and anyone spending MOP$88 or more will receive a free main museum ticket to Macau 3D World.
