Street art on show at Broadway Macau

Written by Ben Blaschke

If you have an interest in street art or simply enjoy seeing something a little different, now is the time to head down to Broadway Macau to check out the Broadway Graffiti Wall.

Last weekend saw the “Do the Write Thing” live graffiti show take place with local and international artists showing off their unique artistic skills along Broadway’s 45-meter wooden wall. They included the Gantz5 Crew from Macau, Hong Kong’s Dirty Panda Crew, the ABS Crew from China and the UK’s Artist Used Pencil.

The event was organized by the Macau City Visual Arts Society, which was established in 2012 to promote art and culture in Macau and includes members of local graffiti group Gantz5.

The 45-meter long graffiti wall boasts a theme of “Classic Movies” and will remain on display until mid-December.
