Tap Dogs surprise shoppers at Venetian Macau

Written by Ben Blaschke

Australia’s tap dancing phenomenon the Tap Dogs landed in Macau yesterday ahead of their upcoming shows at The Venetian Theatre but rather than wait to perform to the audience decided instead to put on an impromptu performance at St Mark’s Square at The Venetian.

Dancers Chris Erk, Anthony Russo, Richie Miller, Justin Myles, Aaron Burr, Jacob Stonebraker, Kurt Csolak and Phillip Russo danced their way through a routine from the show with nearby shoppers apparently thrilled with the unexpected spectacle taking place in front of them.

Tap Dogs will perform at the Venetian from 30 October to 8 November with their 80-minute show combining the strength and power of the workmen they dress as with the precision and intricacy of tap dancing to create an unforgettable theatrical performance.

Tickets are priced between MOP$280 to MOP$680 and can be purchased by calling Cotai Ticketing on +853 2882 8818 or online at www.cotaiticketing.com.
