We’ll kick off the weekend’s action in Monte Carlo where the clay court season has already brought a few surprises. One of those was the early elimination of Novak Djokovic at the hands of Jiri Vesely although Vesely proceeded to be belted 6-1, 6-2 next up by Gael Monfils. Monfils looks to be in fine form at the moment so we like his chances of another straight sets victory when he faces Marcel Granollers in the quarter-finals.
Saturday sees Manchester United with a great chance to keep their Champions League qualification hopes alive when they host strugglers Aston Villa in the Premier League. United are coming off a morale boosting win over West Ham in the FA Cup and with Villa leaking goals the home side are likely to enjoy a fruitful day out.
Finally it’s the Chinese Super League clash between Hangzhou Greentown and Beijing Guoan on Sunday. This one is all about value and we see plenty in Hangzhou against struggling Beijing who are yet to win a game this season. We like Hangzhou’s chances of taking at least something from this game on home soil.
