We start the weekend with a blockbuster in the NRL between traditional rivals Canterbury and Parramatta. Both sides have high expectations this season and have started the year well, so expect the energy and enthusiasm to be high tonight. Combined with a bit of wet weather around Sydney, this promises to be a tight and low-scoring affair.
Arsenal travel to Everton on Saturday night in the Premier League following a week in which they were eliminated from both the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League. That could make it difficult to lift themselves back up against an Everton outfit riding high having beaten Chelsea 2-0 in the FA Cup to progress to the semi-finals. We like Everton with the Draw No Bet option.
Finally, the first race of the 2016 Formula 1 season takes place in Australia on Sunday and the good oil is that Ferrari has closed the gap on Mercedes during the European winter. That makes the $4 on offer for Ferrari number two Kimi Räikkönen to finish on the podium tremendous value given there are no guarantees that teammate Sebastian Vettel and Mercedes duo Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg will finish ahead of him.
