We’re getting in a day early for our first bet of the weekend with Serena Williams eying a 22nd career Grand Slam title when she faces Germany’s Angelique Kerber in the Australian Open final tomorrow. Williams is yet to drop a set on her way to the final and has barely been tested in recent outings – having not dropped more than five games since an opening round 6-4,7-5 result over Camila Giorgi. We expect her to breeze through this one too.
Saturday sees Tottenham travel to League One side Colchester in the FA Cup in what looks likely to be a very one-sided affair. Spurs will likely rest players, however Colchester are currently last in League One and it’s hard to see them matching Tottenham’s class.
Finally, the LA Clippers will be looking to make it three wins in a row when they host the Chicago Bulls on Sunday in the NBA. Neither side has shown much consistency this season but we’ve been particularly underwhelmed by the Bulls in recent weeks – so a Clippers victory it is!
