Good Food Guide: Seoul Korean Cuisine

Written by The Panda

I recently noticed a newly opened Korean restaurant which is quite small, but every time I walk by it is always packed with customers. The food isn’t rich in variety – primarily serving rice, noodles, soup, fried chicken and so on – and there are only two or three flavors for each type. We ordered Bibimbap with beef and Sizzling Spicy Chicken with cheese.

In less than 10 minutes, both dishes were ready. The waiter poured some chili sauce on the Bibimbap and mixed it well for us to eat. Besides beef, the meal also includes radish strips, eggs and seaweed. The mixed taste is very good together with a touch of fragrant rice crust, but in my opinion it would be better if they put more beef in it.

The Sizzling Spicy Chicken with cheese has a particularly strong cheese flavor. The chicken is tender and the taste is sweet and spicy, but the cheese cooled down too fast and soon became solidified. It was also too spicy for me. I had to keep drinking water after the first bite and was sweating by the time I finished. For those who can’t eat spicy food, I suggest you choose another mildly spicy dish, Fried Chicken, which is also very popular.

It should be noted that a service fee will be charged here and they do not accept reservations.
